Reliance Jio has launched a new Prepaid plan in Jammu and Kashmir. The plan comes at Rs 102 and it is specifically designed for the pilgrims of Amarnath Yatra.
The Jio’s new Rs 102 Jio prepaid plan offers its customers unlimited voice calling benefits. The plan also offers 100 SMSes per day for seven days. Additionally, the plan also brings 0.5GB or 500MB of high-speed data on a daily basis throughout the validity. After the consumption of the data, the internet speed gets throttled to 64KB per second.
It is to be noted that the plan does not include access to Jio apps as the Jio Prime Membership is not applicable with the plan. One can opt for the latest plan in Jammu and Kashmir by purchasing a new local connection.
At the moment, the region has restrictions on the Roaming facilities of prepaid subscribers from other parts of the country. The plan is available across various Jio retailers in Jammu and Kashmir for the entire duration of Amarnath Yatra.
Just yesterday, Reliance Jio announced it’s Digital Udaan’ initiative for first-time internet users. With Digital Udaan, Jio will engage with its users every Saturday to help them learn about the JioPhone features and the use of various apps like Facebook and internet safely and connect with friends and family in a secure way.
