In order to celebrate Reliance Jio’s 100 million subscriber base, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director, Reliance Industries, has today announced the launch of its new membership programme through which its users will be able to use the unlimited services offered by the company for a full year. Dubbed as Jio Prime Membership programme, the initiative is applicable for all existing and new Jio customers and one can enroll this programme until March 31st, 2017.
To enrol for this programme, a user needs to pay a nominal fee of Rs 99 for a year and Jio Prime members will get the benefits the unlimited benefits offered by Jio until March 31, 2018. However, one has to pay an introductory price of Rs 303 per month. This means you will get the same 1GB of daily data, which was introduced duing Happy New Year offer. Coming to the benefits, users will be able to use a full bouquet of Jio media services which includes, Jio Music, Jio TV, Jio Movies and so on until March 31, 2018. Other than this, users will also benefit from Jio’s partnership deals. The company will also offer other extreme-value plans exclusively for our Jio prime members, and one will be able to see their details via the myJio App and jio.com.
With Jios’s Happy New Year coming to an end at the end of March, Mukesh Ambani said all domestic voice calls to any network across India will remain free and there would be no Roaming charges, no blackout days and no hidden charges as well. He also added that the company will provide 25 per cent more data than other telecom players.
“Today, just 170 days since its launch, Jio has crossed the 100 million customer mark on its 4G LTE network! Jio has added, on average, nearly 7 customers on its network every second of every day. To all our customers, I say thank you,” Mukesh Ambani said.
