Reliance Jio extends JioPhone Rs 699 Diwali offer for a month

Under the JioPhone Diwali Offer, JioPhone witnessed an unprecedented record sale during the past 3 weeks.

Reliance Jio earlier rolled out a special offer for its JioPhone wherein customers can buy the handset for Rs 699 during the festive period between Dussehra to Diwali. Now the company has extended the JioPhone Diwali offer for an additional one month. The offer will continue throughout November.

Under the JioPhone Diwali Offer, JioPhone witnessed an unprecedented record sale during the past 3 weeks. “The feature phone users who were not able to join the Jio movement during the JioPone Diwali offer, now get another month to avail the benefits of the festive offer and migrate to Jio Digital Life. Through this extension, Jio expects to migrate multi-fold 2G feature phone users onto the JioPhone platform and continue to be the SINGLE-LARGEST DEVICE PLATFORM” the company said.

Jio is giving data benefits worth Rs 700 under this offer. For the first 7 recharges that the customer does, Jio will additionally add Rs 99 worth of data. This value adds up to the total price of Rs 1,500.

In terms of specifications, the JioPhone features a 2.4-inch display with a screen resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The phone will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core with Mali 400 GPU. The device comes loaded with a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. It is juiced up by a 2000mAh battery, which is claimed to give a talk time of 12 hours and of 15 days.

The phone is backed by a 512MB of and 4GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via card. There is support for apps such as Facebook, Google Maps, WhatsApp, and YouTube among others.On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, 4.1 with BLE, GPS, NFC and 2.0.
