Reliance Communications offers unlimited calls, data benefits and more at Rs 299

The company has announced a new plan that offers unlimited calls, data and text for Rs 299.

In order to give a stiff competition to Reliance Jio predatory pricing, Anil Ambani-owned Reliance Communications (RCom) has announced a new plan that offers unlimited calls, data and text for Rs 299. The plan is meant for existing RCom prepaid users.

The company gave this news through its official Twitter account. The tweet reads, “Reliance Mobile introduces the lowest rates ever! Starting at Rs. 299 monthly rental.” The tweet also contains a photo which has says “cheaper than a pair of shoes.” However, there are no details available on the new plan.

The plan is priced lower as compared to Reliance Jio’s Rs 399 plan. Jio prepaid customers get a validity of 84 days and 84GB of data with a daily FUP limit of 1GB per day with the recharge of Rs 399. Airtel, on the other hand, has recently launched a similar plan.

The offer is meant for the prepaid users and they will get 1GB of data per day with a validity of 84 days for Rs 399. The plan also offers unlimited local + STD calls and the offer is available only on handset and SIM. Additionally, Airtel is offering a Rs 244 plan, which provides 1GB of data per day for 70 days along with unlimited Airtel to Airtel local calls.

Vodafone has today announced a new plan called the First Recharge (FR), through which new Vodafone prepaid customers will get 84GB of 4G data for 84 days. The offer is valid only in Maharashtra and Goa, and applicable for 4G handset users. Non-4G handset users can benefit with 2GB data and unlimited local and STD calls valid over 35 days.
