Alongside Redmi K20 and K20 Pro, the company has also launched the RedmiBook 14, which is the first Redmi series notebook in China. The RedmiBook 14 is priced at 3999 Yuan (Rs 40,320 approx.) for the Core i5 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version, 4299 Yuan (Rs 43,340 approx.) for the Core i5 8GB RAM with 512GB storage version and 4999 Yuan (Rs 50,405 approx.) for the Core i7 8GB RAM with 512GB storage version. The notebook will go on sale on June 11 while the pre-registrations will start in China on June 1.
The RedmiBook 14 features a 14-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) 16:9 display, 178° wide viewing angle, 250 nits brightness and 81.2% screen to body ratio. Under the hood, the new laptop is powered by eighth-generation Intel Core i7 Processor along with Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics and 8GB RAM. There is also 256GB / 512GB of solid state drive (SSD).
The new notebook comes with an efficient cooling system and boasts a long 10 hours of battery life on a single charge. In terms of connectivity, the RedmiBook 14 packs Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a charging port, HDMI port, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 3.5mm Headphone jack and a USB 2.0 port. Other features include DTS surround sound and genuine Microsoft Office Home and Student editions. It weighs 1.5kg, comes with a 19mm full-sized keyboard and is 17.95mm thick.
