Redmi Note 8 Pro to be Amazon exclusive in India

Redmi Note 8 Pro features a 6.53-inch FHD+ (2340x1080 pixels) display with 3D curved glass design, waterdrop-style notch, TUV Rheinland eye certification.

Redmi Note 8 Pro India launch is set for October 16. Now ahead of the launch, it has been revealed that Redmi Note 8 Pro will be Amazon exclusive in India after its launch.

The smartphone has received a microsite on Amazon India. The teaser page confirms that the smartphone will be available for sale on e-commerce website upon its launch in India.

The Amazon teaser page also comes with a “Notify Me” option. One can register to get an email from Amazon when the phone is available for purchase. Apart from amazon, the phone will also be available on Mi Home stores and Mi.com

The Redmi Note 8 Pro India pricing is not known yet, but it is likely to be the same as in China. The China pricing of the Redmi Note 8 Pro is 1399 Yuan (translates to Rs 14,000) for the 6GB + 64GB storage, 1599 Yuan (translates to Rs 16,000) for the 6GB + 128GB variant and 8GB RAM + 128GB is priced at 1799 Yuan (translates to Rs 18,000).

Talking of the specifications, Redmi Note 8 Pro features a 6.53-inch FHD+ (2340×1080 pixels) display with 3D curved glass design, waterdrop-style notch, TUV Rheinland eye certification. It is also IP52 certified.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro is the company’s first phone with a 64-megapixel main camera. It has an quad rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel as the primary sensor (ISOCELL Bright GW1 64MP sensor), 8-megapixel as the secondary sensor, 2-megapixel third sensor and another 2-megapixel as the fourth sensor. For the front, the phone has a 20-megapixel selfie camera that supports AI beauty.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G90T processor. The smartphone runs on 9 based on MIUI 10 and will get its power from 4500mAh battery with 18W charging support along with a Type C port.
