Redmi Note 3 was launched back in March 2016 with 5.5 inch 1080 x 1920 pixel display and 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor. It has two models – one with 2GB and 16GB internal storage and another has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. For photography, there is a 16 rear camera coupled with a 5 megapixel front camera. To power all this, it has a massive 4050 battery.

As per last month’s report, Xiaomi sold around 1.75 million units of the device and Q2 IDC report suggested that around 880,000 were sold by the Chinese handset manufacturer in Q2 2016.

As a gesture to celebrate this feat, Xiaomi is hosting a contest wherein one has to type a given sentence within 7 seconds to win a Redmi Note 3 or coupons from Xiaomi. A user gets 3 chances per day to type the sentence till this Thursday. However, you can increase the number of chances by sharing Xiaomi’s post on Facebook through which one will get 3 more chances each time he/she shares it up to the maximum of two times. So that makes a total of 9 chances a day.

Given the specifications and the price of just Rs 9,999 for the 2 model (Rs 11,999 for 3 GB model), Redmi Note 3 is certainly quite an attractive phone. If you own a Redmi Note 3, let us know about your experience using the smartphone so far.
