Redmi has today announced the launch of its latest smartphones, the Redmi K30 5G and Redmi K30 standard edition in China. The Redmi K30 5G comes with a price tag of 1999 Yuan for the 6GB RAM + 64GB variant, 2299 Yuan for 6GB RAM + 128GB variant, 2599 Yuan for 8GB RAM + 128GB variant and 2899 Yuan for 8GB RAM + 256 GB variant.
The standard Redmi K30 is priced at 1599 Yuan for 6GB RAM + 64GB, 1699 Yuan for 6GB + 128GB, 1899 Yuan for 8GB + 128GB and 2199 Yuan for 8GB + 256GB model. The Redmi K30 5G will be available for sale from January 2020, while the Redmi K30 is available for sale in China.
The Redmi K30 5G is the first smartphone in the world that comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 5G processor. It supports both 5G stand-alone and non-stand alone (SA/NSA) sub-6GHz networks. Both the smartphones are available in White, Red, Blue and Purple colour options.
Both the smartphones are loaded with 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolutions, 120Hz refresh rate along with HDR 10 and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The Redmi K30 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G chipset, the Redmi K30 is backed by a Snapdragon 730G processor.
The Redmi K30 5G is equipped with a quad-camera setup with a combination of 64-megapixel primary Sony IMX686 lens with f/1.89 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120-degree field of view, f/2.2 aperture, 2-megapixel depth sensor and 5-megapixel macro lens. The Redmi K30 4G model features the same configuration except for a 2-megapixel macro lens. For the front, both of them are loaded with a dual-selfie camera with a 20-megapixel primary lens and 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Both of them runs on Android 10 with company’s custom MIUI 11 running on top of it. The phones come with side-mounted fingerprint sensor and are backed by a 4500mAh battery with Redmi K30 5G sporting 30W fast charging support. The Redmi K30 features a 27W fast charging support. Connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, Dual-frequency (L1+L5) (K30 5G), GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C and dual-SIM.
