Xiaomi has started rolling out the latest MIUI 11 update to its Redmi K20 smartphone in India. The latest update brings latest features of MIUI 11 along with updated security patch.
The MIUI Global Stable ROM comes with version number 11.0.2.0.PFJINXM and it brings September 2019 security patch. The update is about 766 MB in size and it is currently in batches. The official changelog reveals that the update brings all the goodies of MIUI 11 on Redmi K20.
It brings new design, which is optimised for full-screen display and it improves touch controls. The update also brings new dynamic themes for Always-on display along with new special effects and unique signature. It also brings Sounds of nature, which was touted during MIUI 11 presentation. The feature basically wakes up the user with gentle sound of nature with new alarm ringtones. The notification sounds keeps changing dynamically with the new update.
Apart from this, users will get other features like Game speed booster, new icons, lockscreen, status bar, and notification panel. The lock screen will also be enabled with breathing notifications and custom messages. The Mint Keyboard has support for 25 Indic languages as well as translation/ transliteration support. There are also real-time Emoji suggestions for Hinglish.
Meanwhile, the company has revealed the schedule for rolling out MIUI 11 update in India. Starting October 22 – 31, POCO F1, Redmi K20, Redmi Y3, Redmi 7, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7S, and Redmi Note 7 Pro will get MIUI 11 update. In the second phase from November 4-12, Redmi Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi 6, Redmi 6 Pro, Redmi 6A Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi 5. Redmi 5A, Redmi Note 4, Redmi Y1, Redmi Y1 lite, Redmi Y2, Redmi 4, Mi Mix 2, and Mi Max 2 will get the update.
The third phase from November 13 -29 will bring MIUI 11 update to Redmi Note 6 Pro, Redmi 7A, Redmi 8, Redmi 8A, and Redmi Note 8. Redmi Note 8 Pro will receive the update between December 18-26 in the fourth phase.
