After announcing Realme XT smartphone bearing 64MP quad-camera setup in China, Realme is all set to introduce Realme XT in India as well. Today company has announced to launch Realme XT smartphone in India at an event to be held in New Delhi on September 13th. It will be India’s first smartphone with a 64MP Quad camera setup.
In China, Realme XT introduced in two colour options, Blue & White and features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Display with a waterdrop notch design. It comes equipped a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE processor along with Adreno 616 GPU. The comes with an 8GB of LPDDR4x of RAM with 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage option. Further, the smartphone features HyperBoost 2.0 technology that consists of System Boost, Game Boost and App Boost. For the front, it comes with the 16-megapixel sensor for selfies.
On the rear camera front, it sports a quad-camera setup with a combination of recently introduced 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GW1 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 0.8-micron Pixel size, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with119-degree FOV, f/2.25 Aperture and 1.12-micron pixel size and there are two 2-megapixel Sensors with f/2.4 aperture and 1.75-micron pixel size. Samsung GW1 image sensor is larger than that of the current line of 48MP sensors and uses 4-in-1 Pixel-merging Tetracell technology to merge 16MP images into one, thus providing a 64MP shot.
As per Samsung, “GW1 is equipped with a Dual Conversion Gain (DCG) that converts the received light into an electric signal according to the illumination of the environment. This allows the sensor to optimize its full well capacity (FWC), utilizing the collected light more efficiently especially in bright environments”.
The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 based on ColorOS 6.0 and comes packed with 4000mAh battery along with VOOC 3.0 flash charge support. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor and has face unlock feature as well. Connectivity options include VoLTE, Type-C port, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and other standard connectivity options.
