Realme has now started ColorOS 7 beta program for Realme X2 Pro in India. Those Realme X2 Pro users who purchased the device during the Early-Invite only sale will be able to register themselves for the ColorOS 7 beta until December 3. The ColorOS 7 release for successful beta applicants will debut on December 18.
Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth announced the beta program via a tweet. To apply for the beta program via the Realme website, users should be an Indian resident and at least 18 years old.

As per the terms and conditions by the company, users signing up for the beta testing should have prior experience in OS beta testing. Further, participants in the beta testing need to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with the company.
Realme will contact successful applicants via an email. The company will announce the final list of beta testers on December 9 and testing will commence from December 18.
Apart from announcing the beta program, Sheth also shared a couple of screenshots of showing new software running on the X2 Pro.
To recall, ColorOS 7 was launched in India earlier this week. The company also recently announced Android 10-based ColorOS 7 roadmap for India. Realme XT and Realme 3 Pro will receive the update in January followed by Realme X and Realme 5 Pro in February. Realme X2 Pro will get the update in March whereas Realme 3 and Realme 3i will receive the ColorOS 7 update in April.
Realme 5 and Realme 5S will receive the update in May 2020. Realme 2 Pro will get the update in June. An exact month for Realme C2 has not benn announced but the company says that it will receive the new software update in the third quarter of 2020.
