Realme finally entered the Chinese market today with two new smartphones, dubbed as Realme X and Realme X Youth Edition. The Realme X comes in three different variants- 4GB RAM of RAM with 64GB of internal storage is priced at Yuan 1499, the 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage you have to pay Yuan 1599, while 8GB RAM of RAM with 128GB of internal storage will cost Yuan 1799. The phone will be available for purchase starting May 20.
On the other hand,TheRealme X Youth Edition also comes in three different variants- 4GB RAM of RAM with 64GB of internal storage priced at Yuan 1199, the 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage one has to pay Yuan 1299, while 6GB RAM of RAM with 128GB of internal storage will cost Yuan 1499.
There is also a Realme X Master variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is priced at Yuan 1,899 and comes in Onion and White Garlic gradient color options. The phone is designed jointly by Design Master, Naoto Naoto and the Realme team. Company claimed that the designs is created after 72 gradient tests, more than 300 sample adjustments, only to present the most beautiful texture in our mind.
The Realme X features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Samsung’s AMOLED full screen display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. The phone has a high screen-to-body ratio of 91.2 percent and is protected by 5th generation Gorilla Glass. It comes powered by 2.2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. On the camera front, the phone sports a AI dual rear camera setup with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 as primary sensor and 5-megapixel as secondary Sensors along with an LED flash. Most importantly it comes with pop-up selfie camera of 16-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture.
Further, the Realme X runs on Android 9 Pie operating system based on ColorOS 6.0 UI and get its juices from a 3765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 support. The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display next-generation light-sensitive screen fingerprint sensor. The phone also comes with built-in OPPO’s new AI assistant Breeno and comes with stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos for surround sound. Moreover, Realme X uses a new gel cooling process, which reduces the game temperature by up to 15.2% in one hour.Further, the phone has USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, alongside all standard connectivity options.The phone comes in White and Punk Blue color options.
On the other hand, Realme X Youth Edition features a 6.3-inch full HD+ waterdrop notched display and comes armed with a 2.2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor. The phone also features a fingerprint sensor at the back. For the camera, the Realme X Youth Edition comes equipped with dual rear camera setup with combination of 16-megapixel sensor with Sony IMX519, f/1.7 aperture, 1.22-micron pixel and 5-megapixel sensor. For the front, the phone has a 25-megapixel ultra clear selfie sensor.
It runs ColorOS 6.0 based Android 9 Pie operating system and is backed up by a 4045mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 support. The phone also features Hyper Boost 2.0, The Hyper Boost mobile acceleration technology is meant to provide an improved system, gaming and other performances. The phone comes in Nitrogen blue and Electro-optic Violet color options.
