Realme has revealed that February update plan for its range of smartphone in India. The company has also confirmed that it will roll out Android Pie update by the end of this quarter.
Madhav Seth, CEO, Realme Mobiles, has tweeted revealing the update plans for all Realme smartphones. To begin with Realme 1, the smartphone will receive bootloader unlock function and it will add the reboot feature. The update will also bring the February 2019 security patch.

Realme 2 and Realme C1 will get the latest February security patch with a new update, while the Realme 2 Pro will get fingerprint shutter option along with the latest security patch. Realme U1 will also get the latest February 2019 security patch. All the Realme smartphones will get the said updates by end of February.
Meanwhile, in a separate tweet, Realme official Twitter handle has revealed that all Realme smartphones will get ColorOS 6 update by the end of March 2019. The ColorOS 6 will be based on Android 9.0 Pie.
Previously, Realme confirmed that a new feature will be rolled out to Realme phones when ColorOS 6 is launched. The new feature will offer an App drawer for the first time on a Realme smartphone for which users were previously forced to install a third-party launcher.
The news comes from a tweet by Realme CEO Madhav Sheth who revealed that ColorOS 6 on Realme smartphones will unlock the ability to access apps through an App drawer in the near future. Until now, Realme even after being an independent entity has used Oppo’s ColorOS interface over Android as its default operating system.
