Realme recently announced that it will be debuting its GT Neo 5 in its home country on February 9. Realme not only confirmed the launch date but has also been teasing the design and key specifications of the smartphone ahead of the launch. An interesting design aspect we are seeing is the presence of an RGB light module at the rear. Check out what the device is set to bring to the table.
Realme GT Neo 5: Design
The Realme GT Neo 5 design has been unveiled by the Chinese brand via Weibo. It has revealed the device in a purple colour which will be using AG Glass technology and offer a matte finish.
The device has a dual-tone rear panel, with the top area sporting a huge rectangular block for the two circular camera cutouts, an LED flash module and the RGB lights. The traditional two-stripe design is also present with the Realme branding at the bottom left.
Realme GT Neo 5: Specifications
The device has been confirmed to feature a triple-camera setup on the back with an LED flash module placed next to the sensors. There is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera sensor. The device will also feature optical image stabilisation (OIS).
The brand also confirms that the smartphone will draw power from a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, and include an IR blaster and an NFC chip as well. Lastly, the Realme GT Neo 5 is confirmed to offer support for 240W fast charging.
As for other rumoured specs, it should sport a 6.75-inch 10-bit OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM. The device will come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. Accompanying the main sensor will be an 8MP ultra-sensor and a 2MP tertiary lens. On the front, there’s a 16MP camera.
The device will be offered in two variants where one will have a 5000mAh battery with 150W Fast charging and one would have 4600mAh battery with 240W fast wired charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, GPS and Bluetooth 5.3.
