Realme has debuted a new smartphone in China, called the GT Neo 5 which has a few neat tricks up its sleeve, including support for 240W Fast charging and a transparent window and LED lighting to the right of the rear camera system. As per official notes, this transparent panel on the back offers users a look at the flagship grade chipset that powers the smartphone while the Halo LED notifies users of new notifications, calls, etc.

The Realme GT Neo 5 will go on sale in three different colours, including a Black, White, and a Purple model. It will be available in multiple storage variants on both the 150W and 240W charging variants. The pricing for the variants is as follows:

Realme GT Neo 5: Specifications
Realme GT Neo 5 sports a 6.7-inch 1.5K resolution (2772 x 1240 pixels) OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 2160Hz PWM dimming. The handset is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 3.1 storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0 skin on top.

As for the optics, the Realme GT Neo 5 has triple cameras on the back, including a 50 Megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor that supports OIS. This primary shooter is paired with an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens (Sony IMX355), and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Meanwhile, the front houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
Connectivity options include 5G, dual 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The GT Neo 5 150W version comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 150W fast charging support. Meanwhile, 240W variant of the GT Neo 5 comes with a 4,600mAh battery and 240W fast charging. Additional features include in-display fingerprint sensor for security, X-axis linear vibration motor, and VC liquid cooling.
