Realme 5, Realme 5 Pro to be available offline in mid September

The screen-on time feature will come on Realme 5 series phones via an OTA update in October.

Realme 5, Realme 5 Pro smartphones were recently launched in India. At the time of launch, the company announced that both the phones will also be available in offline stores soon. Now it has been revealed that Realme 5 series will be available offline next month.

Realme CEO Madhav Sheth, in the ninth episode of #AskMadhav series on YouTube, revealed that the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro will be available for sale from authorised retail stores in mid-September. Moreover, he also disclosed that the Realme Buds 2 will also go up for sale in the first week of September.

Apart from this, Sheth also said that the official bootloader unlocking option will be made available within a month. He revealed that the screen-on time feature will come on Realme 5 series phones via an update in October. The feature will also be rolled out to older Realme phones via an OTA update in the future, with the exact update schedule to be announced in the coming days.

Realme 5 Pro will be available for sale exclusively on Flipkart and Realme.com on September 4. The Realme 5 sale was held earlier today for the first time on Flipkart and company’s official website.

Realme 5 Pro comes in three variants – 4GB + 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 128 internal storage priced at Rs 13,999, Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively. On the other hand, Realme 5 also comes in three variants – 3GB+32GB, 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB priced at Rs 9,999, Rs 10,999 and Rs 11,999 respectively.
