Realme recently announced that it will hike the prices of its smartphones post-Diwali. However, it seems that is not waiting for Diwali to end and has increased the prices of its two smartphones, the Realme C1 and Realme 2.
The Realme C1 was launched in India at a price tag of Rs 6,999 and the brand has now increased the price by Rs 1,000. This means that the phone now comes with a price tag of Rs 7,999. The Realme 2, which was launched in India for Rs 8,499, now comes with a hiked price of Rs 9,499. The company has increased the price of 3GB RAM and 32GB storage option of Realme 2. The new prices are already present on Flipkart.
Realme CEO Madhav Sheth previously revealed through a tweet saying Realme phones will get costlier post this festive season as the company is currently re-evaluating its prices ever since the gap between Rupee and Dollar is on the rise.
The Realme C1 features a 6.2-inch notch Fullscreen display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The Realme C1 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core Processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Realme 2 is equipped with a 6.2-inch SuperView HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio and a 271ppi Pixel density. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The device is available in two memory configurations: 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage.
