RDP ThinBook Windows 10 laptop launched at Rs 9,999

RDP also displayed its 8" Gravity Tablets, 10.1" ThinBook 2-in-1 Laptops, the ThinBook Convertible and the PlugPC, all powered by Intel processors and Microsoft, during the launch event of RDP ThinBook.

RDP, an Indian IT hardware & mobility manufacturing company, has announced the availability of RDP ThinBook laptop for customers across India. The tablet is priced at just Rs 9,999.

The RDP ThinBook has Windows 10 operating system. This 14.1 inch display bearing laptop weighs 1.45 Kgs. The screen has 1366×768 pixels resolution. The laptop comes with 32 internal storage and has 128 GB of expandable storage slot.

Besides, the RDP ThinBook comes armed with Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor and 2 GB RAM. A 10,000 mAh Li-Polymer battery is inside this laptop that claims to offer 8.5 hours of backup and 4-5 hours with WiFi. For connectivity, it offers 4.0 and WiFi (b/g/n). It has one micro HDMI port, one audio port, one USB 3.0 port and one USB 2.0 port. The RDP ThinBook has a VGA camera and dual speakers.

RDP also displayed its 8″ Gravity Tablets, 10.1″ ThinBook 2-in-1 Laptops, the ThinBook Convertible and the PlugPC, all powered by Intel processors and Microsoft, during the launch event of RDP ThinBook . However, RDP said anything about launch or price of these devices.

Speaking on the availability of the RDP ThinBook, Vikram Redlapalli, founder & managing director, RDP said, “India is at the cusp of a digital revolution and there is a huge demand for affordable yet trustworthy computing devices to fuel this revolution further. At RDP, we believe that a lower price point at the cost of performance will not be accepted by the end consumers. We are proud to make the ThinBook available to consumers across India and are confident that the consumers will appreciate the overall package that has been designed to deliver sturdy performance and good looks all under INR 9,999.”
