Reliance Communications (RCOM) has announced its partnership with Lenovo to launch CDMA smart phones in India. The handsets will work both on CDMA and GSM networks.
“The complete range of smart-phones across screen sizes and Processor speed will be attractively priced and works on CDMA and GSM network simultaneously and use the Reliance ‘Dual Core’ network advantage that switch calls between the two networks automatically based on the strength and quality of RF signals,” RCom said in a press release.
The Reliance-Lenovo co-branded smart-phones will operate on Android operating system with a dual core 1 GHz processor. They will come with a strong battery life, added RCom.
Announcing this partnership, Gurdeep Singh, president and chief executive officer – wireless business, Reliance Communications said, “We are happy to announce our partnership with Lenovo to offer the most innovative dual technology smartphones in the country.
