Razer, a maker of PC peripherals, has unveiled its first wired headset for smartphones, making an officially entry into the mobile accessory market.
The Razer Electra is a wired headset, targeted mainly at gaming and music loving smartphone users. This headset comes with an over the head (headband based) design to give maximum comfort for longer wearing sessions. The headset comes with 3.5 mm jack connectivity.
The Razer Electra comes with a choice of connector cables which the user can choose basis the need, i.e. with the microphone or without it.
For countering noise while traveling, the company has also included a pair of sound isolating ear cushions in the box. For added comfort for the user considering this product will be used for longer hours, the frame of the headset has been made light weight and long with that a flexible head Band that keep the headset snug to the ears.
Although has been unveiled officially, the product is not available for purchase as of now. The Razer Electra will be available for purchase from October onwards through Razer online web stores and designated dealers worldwide.
Considering the brand and its quality of products, the headset comes with a modest pricing of $59.99 which translates to Rs 2,600 approximately, which is slightly lower than the price of a Bluetooth stereo headset.
