Razer, a brand known for making top-of-the-line products for gaming, is prepping to launch its gaming-centric smartphone, the Razer Phone in the Indian market soon. The Razer Phone was first launched last year in the United States last year in November and now after seven months, Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan has confirmed that the Razer smartphone will be launched in India soon.
Min-Liang Tan on his official twitter handle revealed in a conversation with Mr. Phone’s editor Ershad Kaleebullah and Anuj Sharma. However, Ming has not revealed the exact launch timeline of the Razer Phone in India, but his tweet just confirmed that the company will be launching the phone in India.
His tweet reads “Working on getting the Razer Phone to India!” which suggests that the they are currently working on to get the Razer Phone in India.

Asus has also recently confirmed that the company is bringing its ROG gaming smartphone to India in September this year. When launched in India, the Razer Phone will compete with Asus ROG smartphone.
The smartphone comes loaded with a 5.7-inch QHD IGZO UltraMotion display with a screen Resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. What makes it stand out of the crowd is the new 120Hz refresh rate, meaning that users will able to enjoy smooth gaming experience with zero lag or shuttering.
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor along with a massive 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of UFS storage, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via micro SD card slot.
On the imaging front, the smartphone bears a dual-camera setup at the back which comes with a combination of 12-megapixel Wide-Angle lens with Aperture f/1.75 and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with aperture f/2.6 and it comes with dual PDAF and dual tone LED flash. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor with aperture f/2.0.
The smartphone comes loaded with a 4000mAh battery along with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0. For audio, the phone is equipped with THX certified USB-C audio adapter with a 24-bit DAC. On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C, GPS and NFC.
