Motorola, which has three Moto series handsets in its kitty – Moto E, Moto G, and Moto X, has been in the news recently for a new handset called Moto X+1. Though Motorola has not officially revealed anything in that regard yet but bits of information about the handset used to trickle in from time to time. Now, a new development has suggested that the purported Moto X+1 will come with full HD Resolution bearing display.
Actually, few users of Moto X, Moto G and Moto E have cited a bug in their devices that brings up the Carrier ID in the notification bar of their devices. Motorola’s vice president for product management, Punit Soni, shared a screenshot pointing at the fix for that issue set to arrive with the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update.
The screenshot shared by Punit Soni bears the full HD resolution and is being speculated to be taken on the upcoming Moto X+1 smartphone. The Moto X+1 is speculated to be the full HD resolution bearing elder kin of the Moto X. So far, no other details of the Moto X+1 are available except the model name.
Motorola has promised to release the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for the existing devices from next week onwards. The roll out of the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update would be region wise and Indian consumers might have to wait for a week or two to see the OTA update.
