Prototype images for one of the HTC smartphone have been spotted online, which as per report could be a next Butterfly series smartphone, dubbed as HTC Butterfly Mini. Its been more than a year we have seen any Butterfly series smartphone, the last one was HTC Butterfly 3 launched in September last year.
The prototype images show the front panel of the phone. Being the prototype image it is quite obvious that the actual phone may look slightly different from the device shown in the images.
As far as specifications of the last year’s Butterfly 3 smartphone is concerned, it features a 5.2-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) Quad HD display. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Octa-Core (quad-core 2.0GHz + quad core 1.5GHz) 64-bit processor with Adreno 430 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 2TB with microSD card slot.
It sports a 20-megapixel Duo Camera setup with dual LED, dual tone flash along with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. The HTC Butterfly 3 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with HTC Sense 7 UI on top. It is packed with a 2700mAh battery and supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology.
Connectivity options include 4G, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, GPRS/ EDGE and NFC. The phone measures 150.99 x 72.99 x 9.99 mm and weighs 161 grams. The Butterfly 3 is IPX5 and IPX7 certified for water and dust resistance.
