The Japanese automobile manufacturer, Honda has officially hiked the price of its sub-4 meter sedan, Amaze up to Rs 31,000 in India. Unveiled earlier this year, the car was launched with a starting introductory price of Rs 5.59 Lakh (ex-showroom), which will now be selling for Rs 5.81 Lakh (ex-showroom).

The sedan draws its power by the 1.2-litre i-VTEC, 4-cylinder, petrol engine which chunks the power of 89 bhp, with the peak torque of 110 Nm. Mated to a 5-speed manual, which is said to deliver the mileage of 19.5 kmpl, while 7-step CVT automatic transmission is claimed to travel 19 kmpl.
As far as diesel variant is concerned, the Amaze is equipped with a 1.5-litre i-DTEC, turbocharged engine with 100 PS power and 200 Nm torque, which is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. However, the automatic transmission trim produces 80PS of power and 160Nm of torque. In terms of fuel economy, it is said to achieve mileage of 27.5 kmpl and 23.8 kmpl respectively.
In the features department, the Honda Amaze comes with the dual-tone interiors with an updated dashboard, DRL LEDs, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with the support of Android Auto And Apple CarPlay, automatic air conditioning, cruise control, keyless ignition, updated steering wheel, redesigned instrument cluster, rear parking Sensors with camera, impact mitigation front headrest and more.
