LG is all set to intensify the low cost smartphone battle with the launch of its entry level Android smartphone, Optimus L3 E400. LG had announced the Optimus L3 E400 at the Mobile World Congress 2012 back in February 26 in Barcelona, Spain.
Though LG is quiet about the launch, online retailers have already started taking orders for the smartphone. The device has been listed on Flipkart for Rs 7,949.
The Optimus L3 E400 is an entry level device featuring Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. Although earlier it was expected to come with Android Ice Cream Sandwich but the listing has clarified many doubts. According to the listing, the LG Optimus L3 features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display supporting 320×240 pixel Resolution and 3 Megapixel camera with video recording capability in VGA mode.
The processor has been clocked at 800 MHz mostly supporting all modern day apps with ease. The 3 megapixel camera can click decent quality photos and micro SD card slot is also present add up to 32 GB memory card.
