Motorola is widely expected to launch its Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus tomorrow. Meanwhile, two Motorola devices with model no XT1622 and XT1642 have got the necessary approval from Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in the US. The devices are highly expected as upcoming Moto G4 variants considering the fact that last year’s Moto G3 had model number of XT1540. An FCC certification also means that the devices could be launched in the USA.
The Moto G4 was earlier spotted on GeekBench, a Benchmarking website. On GeekBench, the phone got 717 in single-core test and in muli-core test it received 3077. The press renders of the upcoming Moto G4 also got leaked sometime back by @evleaks. In the leaked images, both the G4 and G4 Plus had identical designs.
As per the GeekBench listing, the Moto G4 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor. The handset is based on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow version and has 3 GB RAM.
Recently, Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus even surfaced on Indian export import website Zauba
As per other rumors, Moto G4 is expected to come with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage and the Moto G4 Plus will come with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Both the devices will come with laser Autofocus and NFC (Near Field Communication). The Moto G4 will allegedly come with a 13-megapixel rear camera, while the Moto G4 Plus is said to sport a 16-megapixel rear camera. Both will run on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) operating system.
Both the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus are expected to come with 5.5 inch full HD display. Both will run on 1.2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon processor and will be backed up by 3000 mAh battery.
Motorola recently announced that the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus will be available exclusive through Amazon.in. We will come to know more on these two handsets in their official launch. So stay tuned for more updates.
