Portronics has today announced the launch of the new multimedia hub in India. Dubbed as Mport 4C1, the device will be available for Rs 2,999 from online and offline channels.
The hub is a 4-in-1 Type-C to Type C/USB/HDMI/VGA connector. This allows users to connect up to four smart devices of different connector types to the Type-C port of the laptop. There are four different ports including a USB 3.0 at a super speed of 5GBPS, a Type C, an HDMI at 4K/60FPS and a VGA 1080P Ultra HD.
The company claims that the connector comes with fast and stable data transfer. The transfer speed of Type C is 5Gbps, which is 10 times faster as compared to USB 2.0 which is around 480Mbps.
It comes with built-in protection from over-voltage and over-current. This 4-in-1 connector is a plug n play accessory; does not require any installation of any drivers. The connector works on Windows, MacOS or Android.
Previously, the company introduced a new dual-purpose car accessory known as the Charge Clamp. The Charge Clamp looks like any car mobile holder which can hold a smartphone of 9-inches and at the same time charge the device wirelessly. There are three movable hinges allowing the device to be held and tiled at an angle of choosing for convenience.
