Polaroid, which is known for its instant-film cameras, has announced two new Android smartphones – Polaroid Power and Snap, at the ongoing Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, USA. The Polaroid Power will be available in the USA in coming months for $250 or Rs 16,600 approximately and comes in platinum color variant, whereas the Polaroid Snap comes in three screen sizes 5-inch, 5.5-inch and 6-inch and will be priced between $129.99 – $179.99. The Snap will be available by February this year and comes in black, white, blue, and pink colours.
The Polaroid Power features a 6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) IPS display and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core processor which is paired with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, which will upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in near future.
The Polaroid Power comes with 32GB of internal storage, with an option to expand the storage via a micro SD card. It flaunts a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. The handset has a 3000mAh battery and offers 4G LTE connectivity.
On the other hand, the Polaroid Snap comes in three screen sizes 5-inch, 5.5-inch and 6-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) Resolution and is powered by a unknown quad-core processor. The smartphone comes in two different variants one with 1GB RAM anf 8GB internal storage and the other with 2GB RAM with 16GB of internal storage.
It flaunts a 13-megapixel rear camera with Dual LED flash light and a 5-megapixel front camera with with LED flash. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, which will upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in near future.
