Earlier, one would struggle to finish moderately sized battery in an entire day, but as screens got larger, processors more powerful, the batteries started to fail to rise up to the challenge.

Meanwhile, to address the issue, manufacturers have started arming their smartphones with bigger batteries. Now even mobile phones are coming with as huge as 5000 mAh battery that usually equated with tablets. But interestingly, such huge batteries are not exclusive property of high end devices; even affordable handsets too come with such huge batteries.

The Lava Iris Fuel 20 is armed with a giant 4400 mAh battery that provides 42 hours of talk time, despite having a 5 inch TFT display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The device is based on KitKat operating system which runs on a dual-core 1.3 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM combination.
