Philips has launched two smartphones, Xenium I908 and S309. The Xenium I908 was revealed last year itself but has now been made available in the market.
Philips Xenium I908
It has a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display and a 1.7GHz octa-core processor. The handset has 2GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) operating system. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. For storage, it offers 16 GB of internal memory and a 32 GB expandable storage.
This dual SIM smartphone is compatible with 3G networks and has FM radio, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11 b/g/, Micro-USB, and GPS/ A-GPS. It is backed up by 3000 mAh battery which promises to deliver up to 25 hours of Talk time and up to 1080 hours of standby time. It measures 143x70x8.8mm and weighs around 155.8 grams. It comes in black and white colours.
Philips Xenium S309
It is a budget smartphone featuring a 4 inch display and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Processor running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. It has only 512MB RAM, 4 GB inbuilt storage and a 32 GB micro SD card slot. It has a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera.
Philips S309 measures 127.5×64.5×10.8mm and weighs around 126.7 grams with 1600mAh Li-Ion battery. This battery claims to offer 9.5 hours of talktime or Standby time of 500 hours. Connectivity features are similar to Xenium I908 including 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, FM radio, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, Micro-USB.
