Pebble launches two new smart watches, Pebble 2 SE now available for pre-order

As for the pricing, Pebble 2+ Heart Rate is priced at $129.99 which is roughly around Rs 8,700 while Pebble 2 SE comes in at $99.99 which makes it around Rs 6,700.

You must have heard the name Pebble previously which made a lot of news when it first launched its smart watch back in 2012. However, soon a lot of companies entered in smart watch industry which faded the initial name for the company. Now, the company has introduced two new smart watches – Pebble 2 Standard Edition which comes without a heart rate sensor and Pebble 2 + Heart Rate.

Interestingly, it seems that the company has just changed the name of the smart watches which it announced back in May.

As for the pricing, Pebble 2+ Heart Rate is priced at $129.99 which is roughly around Rs 8,700 while Pebble 2 SE comes in at $99.99 which makes it around Rs 6,700. Pebble 2 SE comes in five different colours and is already available for pre-orders whereas Pebble 2+ Heart Rate will soon be available for pre-orders in Jet Black colour variant.

Pebble 2+ Heart Rate as mentioned before come with Heart Rate sensor which monitors the heart rate while doing various physical activities. Also, Pebble Health for smartphone comes with further functionality. Moreover, there is an inbuilt Workout app.

The official blog read – “Pebble Health automatically detects long walks, runs, and naps, feeding you a performance summary when you’re finished. Dive deeper into your stats with beautiful in-app graphs. Tap and drag on your mobile graphs for targeted views of your step and heart rate stats at specific times. Sync with Google Fit or Apple’s Health Kit to paint an even clearer picture of your overall well-being,”

Pebble 2 SE is essentially same inside except the absence of heart rate sensor. Further, the company claims that the Pebble 2 variants can last up to seven days and can also track your sleeping patterns. One can also get notifications of certain apps. Interestingly, it also provides water resistance up to 30 meters.
