Panasonic has a new member to its Lumix series with the launch of Lumix FZ2500 mirrorless camera in India. The device comes with a price tag of Rs 94,990 and is available across company’s retail stores across the country.
The major highlight of the device is the ability to record 4K videos in spite of featuring a chassis of a compact camera. The camera can capture 4K videos in 30fps. The mirrorless camera is equipped with a super-zoom 20x LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens, which the company boasts gives a high optical performance for both photos and videos. The lens comes with a focal range of 24-480mm and has a max Aperture range of f/2.4-4.5.
Coming to the lens, the super zoom lens comes with inner zoom structure which allows smooth zooming which makes easy to shoot videos without jerk. The large, 1-inch 20.1-megapixel High Sensitivity MOS Sensor lets the user capture clear images with minimum noise even when shooting at a high ISO. The Venus Engine features multiple noise reduction systems to achieve high colour reproduction and high image quality with natural, true-to-life detail.
The mirrorless comes with top burst speed up to 12fps and features an OLED EVF with 2.36 million dot resolution. Other than this, the camera is equipped with variable ND filters and for a unique video expression, Variable Frame Rate, Slow and Quick motion, and Dolly Zoom are also available along with a variety of practical functions required for professional video recording.
The device sports a 3-inch LCD screen and supports connectivity options like a Headphone jack, Wi-Fi, micro HDMI with live output and can take up to 350 shots when charged fully.
