Panasonic has announced two new feature phones – GD21 and GD31 – in the Indian market. These entry level feature phones offer dual SIM support and sport a rear camera. Panasonic GD21 is priced at Rs 1,790 while the GD31 costs Rs 2,190. Both entry level phones run JAVA based firmware interface.
Panasonic’s two entry level feature phones are intended for those looking for stylish inexpensive phones. The Panasonic GD21 offers a 2.4-inch display with 320×240 pixel resolution. This phone supports Dual SIM with Dual Standby mode offering Dual-Band 2G support. At the rear, it packs 1.3 megapixel camera and it houses 32 MB RAM along with memory card slot. Other features include Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, FM Radio with Recording, LED Torch, Mobile Tracker and packs 1800 mAh battery. Panasonic GD21 will be sold in Dark Grey, Light Grey and Silver colour options.
Panasonic GD31 features a 2.8-inch touchscreen with 240×320 pixel resolution. This phone too supports dual SIM with Dual Standby mode. It offers a 2 megapixel camera at the back with flash. By default, it offers English and Hindi language support. Other features include FM Radio with Recording, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, LED Torch, Mobile Tracker, and 1100 mAh battery. This phone will be sold in Silver, Grey and Black colour options.
