Ottomate International, India home-grown consumer electronics brand that made its debut in 2017, has launched its first product, a smart fan. The company has introduced Ottomate Smart Fan at a price tag of Rs 3,999 and it is available for purchase from major retail stores in India.
The major highlight of the Smart Fan is that it comes loaded with Qualcomm’s BLE 5.0 Chipset with CSR Mesh and it also loaded with digital temperature and humidity sensors. The smart fan can be connected to smartphone/tablet with via Ottomate App and there is a Smart Mate remote as well, but that comes as a separate accessory.
The fan comes with different modes including Manual mode, Otto Mode, Breeze Mode, Turbo Mode and Master Switch. Starting with manual mode, users can set the fan to the exact speed they need. In Otto mode, the smart fan works autonomously and it adjusts the fan speed according to the ambient room temperature. In Breeze mode, the fan speed changes cyclically to create a breeze effect. Turbo mode put the fan speed 10 per cent higher than the maximum speed. Lastly, the Master Switch is a one-touch way to switch off/on all the Ottomate devices in the home.
The company claims that it currently has 100+ service centres across the country and it says that it will provide free home installation and feature demonstration to their customers.
