Oppo has finally confirmed the launch date of its upcoming Reno 3 series. The company has revealed that it will launch Oppo Reno 3 5G series in China on December 26.
The company has revealed this information on its official Weibo account. Oppo is expected to launch to smartphones under its new Reno 3 series, Reno 3 5G and Reno 3 Pro 5G. As the name suggests, both of them will come with 5G support, which is now becoming a new trend in the Chinese smartphone market.
Interestingly, previous leaks have indicated almost everything about the two smartphones. To start with Oppo Reno 3 Pro, it will feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display. There is a punch-hole design, which is located at the top-left corner. The phone will be powered by 2.4GHz octa-core Processor which is Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset.
Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G will have 8 GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone will lack a microSD card slot. It will have a quad camera setup of 48-megapixel + 13-megapixel + an 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors. The phone will have a selfie camera of 32-megapixel. The smartphone will run on ColorOS 7, which will be based on Android 10. It will pack a 3935mAh minimum rated (4025mAh typical) battery with 30W rapid support.
Coming to Oppo Reno 3 5G, it will feature a waterdrop notch at the front. The smartphone will be backed by a 6.4-inch AMOLED full HD+ display with 1080 x 2340 pixels Resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by 2.1GHz octa-core processor which is likely to be Helio P70 SoC. The phone has 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB internal storage with a microSD card slot for additional storage.
For the camera department, the Oppo phone will have a quad-camera setup with 48-megapixel, an 8-megapixel, 2-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors with LED flash. The phone will have a front camera of 16-megapixel. It will be backed up by 3,935mAh battery and it will run on Android 10.
