As reported earlier, Oppo is all set to unveil its next flagship smartphones under its R-series, Oppo R9 and R9 Plus, on March 17 at the Beijing National Convention Center. Last week, the company itself revealed the release date and venue via teaser.
Recently, both the smartphone spotted on certification website TENAA, which given us the good insight on the specifications. Now the full specifications of the OPPO R9 and R9 Plus have been leaked by famous leakster Steve Hemmerstoffer ‘@OnLeak’ ahead of official launch, which are almost inline with the TENAA listing.
As per @OnLeaks, the Oppo R9 will features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Amoled display, It will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor, which would be clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up-to 128GB via a micro SD card. The phone will flaunt a 16-megapixel snapper on the rear and a 13-megapixel shooter on the front panel. This 4G device will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with colorOS 3.0 on top of it and will be backed up by a 2850 mAh battery, as per the leaked spec sheet which says that the handset measures 151.8×74.3×6.5mm and weighs 145 grams.
On the other hand, the Oppo R9 Plus will offer a 6-inch Full-HD (1920x1080p) Amoled display. It will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, which would be paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. It too will have a 128GB micro SD card slot.
Further, the device will sports an 16-megapixel shooter on both its rear and front panels. This 4G device will also run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with colorOS 3.0 on top of it and will be backed up by a 4120 mAh battery. The handset will measures 163×80.8×7.4mm and weighs 185 grams.
