Oppo R9, Oppo R9 Plus smartphones pricing revealed

A promotional image has been surfaced online, which revealed the pricing of both Oppo R9 and Oppo R9 Plus smartphones.

As reported yesterday, Oppo R9 is set to be unveiled on March 17 at the Beijing National Convention Center, which was confirmed by the company itself via teaser. Now ahead of the official launch, a promotional image has been surfaced online, which revealed the pricing of Oppo R9 and Oppo R9 Plus smartphones.

According to the promotional image, Oppo R9 will be priced at CNY 2,498 (approximately Rs. 25,828), while the Oppo R9 Plus comes in two storage variants- 64GB and 128 GB, which will be priced at CNY 2,998 (approximately Rs. 31,006) and CNY 3,298 (approximately Rs. 34,109) respectively.

Earlier, the Oppo R9 and Oppo R9 Plus spotted on certification website TENAA, which revealed its images and specifications.

As per the listing on the Chinese certification site, the Oppo R9 features a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Amoled display, It is powered by a 1.95 GHz octa-core processor, which is clubbed with 4GB of and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable by up-to 128GB via a micro card.

The TENAA listing also reveals that the phone has 16-megapixel snappers on both rear and front panels. This device will run on 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and will be backed up by a 2850 battery. The handset measures 151.8×74.3×6.5mm and weighs 145 grams.

On the other hand, Oppo R9 Plus comes with bigger 6-inch Full-HD (1920x1080p) Amoled display. It is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor, which is clubbed with 4GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. It too has a 128GB micro SD card slot. The device sports 16-megapixel shooter on both its rear and front panels. This 4G device will also run on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and will be backed up by a 4120 mAh battery. The handset measures 163×80.8×7.4mm and weighs 185 grams.
