Oppo has started teasing its new upcoming smartphone on Amazon India. The e-commerce website has however not revealed the name of the device, but it is expected that the company will announce the Oppo K3, which was launched in China in May this year.
The teaser by Amazon suggests that the upcoming Oppo phone will have a screen-to-body ratio of 91.1 percent, which is the same as the Oppo K3. Apart from this, the teaser also reveals a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, AMOLED display, and VOOC 3.0 Fast charging support. All these features are present on the K3.
In China, the smartphone is priced at 1599 Yuan (Rs 16,105 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant, 1899 Yuan for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant and the top-end 8GB RAM with 256GB storage will cost you 2299 Yuan (Rs 23,160 approx.).
Oppo K3 features a 6.5-inch AMOLED Display that will offer full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the phone is powered by 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with Adreno 616 GPU. It comes with up to 8GB RAM and its top variant offers an internal storage of 256 GB. There is a dedicated microSD card slot on the device for expanding its storage. The notch-less screen phone has a 6th-generation in-display fingerprint.
There is a 3,765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. It runs on Android Pie operating system coupled with the latest ColorOS 6.0 UI. For the imaging department, the phone is equipped with a 16-megapixel primary camera shooter at the rear with an Aperture of f/1.7, and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The phone has a 16-megapixel pop-up front-facing camera.
The phone comes with other features like Dolby Atmos support, dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. The dimensions of the phone are 161.2 x 76 x 9.4mm, while the weight of the Oppo K3 is 191 grams.
