Oppo introduces AR glasses, new 5G router and more

The company has introduced its first AR glasses along with an intelligent 5G management router and more during the event.

Oppo, during its Inno Day event, has showcased a host of technologies. The company has introduced its first AR glasses along with an intelligent management router and more during the event.

The new AR glasses look similar to other AR products available in the market. The company has not revealed much about the upcoming AR glasses, but it says that the product will be available in the market starting from Q1 of 2020. The new AR glasses are loaded with four cameras.

There are two fisheye lenses along with one camera and one Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor that the company claims will provide a comprehensive view and a good mix of both virtual and real world. The AR glasses are also said to feature 3D surround sound. Oppo claims the features will come handy when it will launch its AR Content, Games and Services.

The company has also announced an ‘intelligent 5G management’ router that also supports Bluetooth. The company says that the router can currently support hundreds of devices, however, the number will increase to thousands in the future. The latest router runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G modem. The brand has also revealed that it will launch a plethora of products next year ranging from smartwatches, Smart TVs to robots. The smartwatch range will be introduced in Q1 of 2020.
