Oppo Mobiles will release its flagship smartphone – Find 7 – in India by mid 2014. A media statement released by the company has revealed this. Oppo Mobiles already offers N1, R1, Find 5 mini and Oppo Neo for the Indian consumers.
In an official statement, Tom Lu, the chief executive officer of Oppo Mobile India, said,”The Oppo N1 marked our entry into the Indian market and our forthcoming products including the soon-to-be-launched Oppo Find 7 will enable us to replicate our global success story here. We are also aggressively focusing on steady market expansion and after-sales service network in order to enhance our customer outreach and satisfaction.”
Oppo Find 7 features a 5.5-inch touchscreen display sporting Quad-HD pixel resolution (2560×1440) pixel resolution and thereby pushing Pixel density of 538 pixels per inch. Such high resolution display is powered by the new quad-core 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC mobile Chipset and 3 GB RAM. Oppo has packed 32 GB on-board storage on Find 7 and also offered a memory card slot that can support up to 128 GB micro SD card.
At the back, the Find 7 features a 13 megapixel camera that can produce 50 megapixel image using a Sony Exmor IMX series sensor. Bundling a Dual LED flash, the image module packs Pure Image 2.0 features. The camera can let you record 4K resolution videos at 30 frames per second and even 720p HD videos in slow-motion (120 frames per second). It also includes 32-second slow shutter speed settings option and hand-held Night mode for better imaging in the dark. The highlight of the imaging is that the camera supports saving the image as RAW file.
By default, the Find 7 runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean based Color OS 1.2 and expected to get Android 4.4 KitKat level update later this year.
Oppo has also integrated the MaxxAudio Mobile module for top quality audio output. The smartphone will offer the MaxxEQ equalizer to enable better audio control for the avid audio lovers. It even supports VOOC charging technology that enables Rapid Charging which makes it possible to recharge 75 per cent battery in 30 minute. Find 7 packs a 3000 mAh battery to power the high resolution display, high quality camera and the powerful processor.
Oppo Find 7 is sold in China for roughly around Rs 34,500; if it would be priced below Rs 40,000 in India, it would be definitely a very attractive option.
