Oppo F9 Pro set to launch in India today

The Oppo F9 Pro will be launching in India in three colour - Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue, and Starry Purple.

Oppo F9 Pro will be launching today in India at an event to be held in Mumbai at 12:30 PM. The company has already sent the media invites for the launch event. Recently Oppo F9 was launched in Vietnam and F9 Pro is expected to be the Indian variant of F9.The Oppo F9 Pro will have a waterdrop-like display notch, dual rear cameras and VOOC flash charging which will offer 2 hours of with just 5 minutes of charging. The Oppo F9 Pro will be launching in India in three colour – Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue, and Starry Purple and it is expected to be priced under Rs 25,000.

Oppo F9 Pro is expected to feature a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) LTPS TFT display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by MediaTek Helio P60 processor with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. In India, the smartphone will likely be launching with 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage and an expandable storage support up to 256GB via card slot.

The smartphone will have a dual rear camera setup of 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture and flash. For the front, there will be a 25-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.

It will come with 3,500mAh battery which supports Oppo’s VOOC and will run on ColorOS 5.2 based on 8.1 Oreo. Connectivity features include Dual LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4.2, a micro USB port, and a 3.5mm jack. The smartphone measures 156.7 x 74 x 7.99mm and weighs 169 grams.
