Oppo A9 2020 4GB variant gets the price cut within a month of its launch

The Oppo A9 2020 comes loaded with 48MP Ultra Wide Quad Camera setup and gets its power from 5000mAH battery with reverse charging support.

Oppo A9 2020 smartphone was launched in India last month and within a month of its launch, the smartphone’s 4GB variant gets its first price cut. The Oppo A9 2020’s 4GB RAM with 128GB storage variant was launched at the price tag of Rs 16,990 and after the price cut, the phone is now retailing at a discounted price of Rs 15,990 on Amazon India. However, the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant of the phone is still retailing at the original price of Rs 19,990.

Jumping straight to specifications, the Oppo A9 2020 features a 6.5-inch Nano waterdrop display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 3+ protection and night shield with blue light filter. The phone comes powered with 2.0GHz SM6125 Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 612 and comes with an option to expand the storage up to 256GB storage via card.

For the optics, the Oppo A9 2020 comes equipped with quad rear camera setup with 48-megapixel as the primary lens, an 8-megapixel 119-degree ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel mono lens and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. On the front, it employs a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.

The smartphone gets its juices from a 5000mAH lithium-polymer battery with reverse charging support and comes loaded with Dolby Atmos Sound Effects as well. The phone runs on 9.0 Pie based on ColorOS 6.0.1 and comes will rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Further, the phone features Game Boost 2.0 accelerator technology for improved Frame Boost and Touch Boost. Connectivity options include VoLTE, Type-C port, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, 5.0 etc. The phone measures 16.4 x 0.9 x 7.6 cm and weighs 195 grams.
