Oppo has launched its new bezel-less smartphone named as Oppo A79 smartphone in China. The Oppo A79 is priced at 2399 Yuan (approximately Rs 23,500) and is currently available on the company’s official Chinese website for pre-order. It will go on sale in China on December 1. The smartphone comes in black and champagne colour options.
The Oppo A79 features a 6-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone is powered by the 2.5GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 processor. The phone is backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB. It is juiced up by a 3,000mAh battery with VOOC fast charging. The Oppo A79 features a fingerprint sensor located at its rear. The device also comes with a facial recognition feature.
On the camera front, the smartphone features 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. For the front, there is a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 Aperture for selfies and video calling. On the connectivity front, the device support 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB-Type C, GPS, GLONASS and dual-SIM support. On the software front, the A79 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with company’s own ColorOS 3.2 on top.
