Full specifications of Oppo A5s leaked recently. Now if a new report is to be believed, the smartphone is likely to launch in India soon.
As per MySmartPrice, the Oppo A5s smartphone has now been certified by India’s BIS and Thailand’s NBTC certification agencies. NBTC certification confirmed the name of the smartphone without revealing any specs of the Oppo A5s.
While on the other hand, India’s BIS certification agency, only lists the model number of the smartphone which is CPH1909. BIS certification is a means for providing a third-party guarantee of quality, safety, and reliability of products to the customer. The BIS certification has confirmed that the smartphone will be launched in India soon. Earlier this year, the smartphone was also spotted on Russian EEC and Indonesian TKDN certification websites with the same model number CPH1909.
As per an earlier report, Oppo A5s will feature a 6.2-inch In-cell display with 720 x 1520 HD+ resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop notch at the top. It will be powered by MediaTek’s 12nm Helio P35 octa-core processor. It will be available in three different variants with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 256GB via micro SD card. The phone will feature a fingerprint sensor and face unlock as well.
For the imaging department, the phone will have a dual rear camera setup of 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors. It will have an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. The primary 13MP sensor will be paired with an f/2.2 aperture, while the front-facing 8MP sensor will have f/2.0 aperture.
Oppo A5s will run on an older Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2 and it will be backed up by 4230mAh battery. The handset will measure 155.9 x 75.4 x 8.2mm and it will weigh 170 grams. It will be available in four colours – Red, Black, Gold, and Green.
