Oppo A59 smartphone, which was found listed on website of Chinese certification agency TENAA earlier this month, has been launched in China. The smartphone is priced at Yuan 1799 ( approximately Rs 18,299) and will be available for purchase from June 18. The Oppo A59 comes in Gold and Rose Gold color options.
The Oppo A59 has a metal unibody and a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with pixel density of 267ppi. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor (MediaTek MT6570), which is clubbed with Mali-T860 GPU, and 3GB of RAM. The device carries the 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 128GB via MicroSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with ColorOS 3.0 UI on top of it.
Oppo A59 has a 13-megapixel shooter with LED flash on its back and an 5-megapixel snapper on its front panel. The handset gets it power from a 3075mAh battery, with flash charging support. Besides, the Oppo A59 offers Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a MicroUSB port. The handset measures 154.5 x 76 x 7.3 mm and weighs around 160 grams.
