Oppo is all set to launch its another selfie focused ‘Oppo A57’ smartphone in India next week. The company has announced on its official Twitter account today that the smartphone will land in the Indian market on the 3rd of February.
The Chinese handset manufacturer posted on twitter today – “The all new #OPPOA57 is hitting the markets on the 3rd of February. Get ready to become unstoppable. #UnstoppableSelfies”
The Oppo A57 was first unveiled in China in the month of November last year for 1599 Yuan (approx. Rs 15,800), however, we are not sure of the price at which the smartphone will be launched in India
As far as specifications are concerned, the Oppo A57 features a 5.2-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, along with Adreno 505 GPU. The smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB with a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with ColorOS 3.0 on top of it and get its juices from the 2900mAh battery.
On the camera front, the OPPO A57 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, LED Flash and a good 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. The smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is embedded in its home button. Besides, the smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, a microUSB port. The handset measures 149.1×72.9×7.65 mm and weighs 147 grams.
