Oppo has slashed the price of its Oppo A1K and A5s smartphones by upto Rs 1,000. Oppo A1K has received a price cut of Rs 500 while the Oppo A5s price has been slashed by Rs 1,000.
The Oppo A1K phone was launched at Rs 8,490 in April this year. Now after the price cut, the Oppo A1K retails at Rs 7,990 on Flipkart. Notably, Amazon is still selling the phone at its original price of Rs 8,490.
Oppo A5s was also launched in India in April this year at the starting price of Rs 9,990. After a price cut of Rs 1,000, Oppo A5s comes with a price tag of Rs 8,990 for the 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM, and Rs 9,990 for 3GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant. The new prices were first tipped by Mumbai based retailer, Mahesh Telecom.
To recall, Oppo A1K features a 6.1-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 processor backed by a 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 Aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie, which is based on ColorOS 6.0 and it is juiced up by a 4,000mAh battery with a 10W fast charger.
Oppo A5s is equipped with a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a 1520 x 720 pixels. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 Chipset coupled with 2GB and 3GB RAM variants. The phone has a dual-camera setup, which comes with a combination of 13-megapixel primary lens and a 2-megapixel secondary shooter. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture. It runs on ColorOS 5.2.1 that’s based on Android 8.1 Oreo and it is backed up by a 4230mAh battery
