Oppo hasunveiled a 5G smartphone at MWC 2019. At its event in Barcelona, the company showed its 5G smartphone without sharingany detailsabout specification, price and availability. The only thing they shared was that the Snapdragon 855 SoC would power the device.
At the event, the company announced Oppo 5G Landing Project which is nothingbut announcement related to 5Goperator partnership withOptus, Singtel, Swisscom, and Telstra. The lack of details about the 5G smartphone from Oppo is in quite a contrast to that of Samsung Galaxy S10 5G variant lauch just a fewdays back Where rollout time and partner’s name was shared. ThoughSamsung also didn’t share the price. Anyi Jiang, Vice President, Oppo said That any obstacles had been overcome to achieve the feat – including the design of the Antenna and RF modules.
At the event, Oppo even showcased its 10X Optical Zoom phone camera. The technology mainly uses a combination of a 48MP primary camera sensor, 120-degree ultra-wide lens and telephoto lens. When combined, these cameras can shoot photos the equivalent of 16mm up to 160mm. The second and third cameras have optical image stabilisation ( OIS), and the latter has a stabilisation accuracy of up to 0.001445 degrees.
