Tata Docomo Fujitsu F-074
Tata Docomo recently launched this Android 4.0 phone from Fujitsu, which is the number one phone maker in Japan. Named Fujitsu F-074, the phone comes with a 4.0 inch WVGA (800×480 pixel) resolution Amoled display, 1.4 GHz Snapdragon processor, Android 4.0, and a 5 megapixel rear camera. It also has a 1400 mAh battery, 512 MB RAM, 1 GB of internal storage, and the usual connectivity options like WiFi and Bluetooth. The most notable feature of the phone, according to the company, is that it is water resistant. It even allows underwater photography. Also, its screen is scratch resistant. Another interesting feature is that the brightness of the handset’s display adjusts automatically according to the intensity of sunlight.
And even the sound is automatically adjusted thanks to the Motion Conscious Audio system, which checks the environment and modulates incoming voice to give clear voice quality. MTS Mtag 401
We have even reviewed this phone, and you can read about it here. This Android smartphone has a 4 inch screen with 800 x 480 pixel (WVGA) resolution, which we had appreciated in our review. This is one of the best-looking MTS branded smartphones from the operator. To start with, it has a curved base, which gives the smartphone a curvy look and prevents it from slipping while one is using the three capacitive buttons – menu, home and return. It has impressive specifications as well, like Android 2.3 Gingerbread, an 800 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor, 1700 mAh battery, 3.0 megapixel rear camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and an SD card slot. It is not widely available online but you can get it from MTS stores in your area (http://www.mtsindia.in/smartphones/MTag401/index.html) for Rs 8,999.
Although there are a lot of unlocked smartphones at this price, with Mtag 401, MTS is giving many freebies-unlimited free local calls for three months, 1 GB of data free for three months, and also promotional tariff of 1 paisa per second for both local as well as STD calls for a certain time.

Priced at Rs 6,499, this smartphone comes with a 3.5 inch screen, Android 2.3 operating system, 800 MHz Qualcomm processor, 256 MB RAM, and a 3 megapixel rear camera. It also has a 1400 mAh battery that claims to provide 240 minutes of talktime.
Besides, the MTS Mtag 352 has WiFi, Bluetooth, a Micro USB port, 3.5 mm jack, and video and audio players. It comes with the same freebies that MTS is offering with the Mtag 401.

Idea 3G Aurus
Idea Cellular is offering the 3G Aurus smartphone for Rs 7,190 with 3G data benefits worth Rs 2,300 for free. This dual SIM smartphone has Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, an 800 MHz processor, a 3.5 inch touchscreen with 320 x 480 pixel resolution, 32 GB of expandable memory and a 1300 mAh battery that, according to the operator, provides 11 hours of talktime on 2G and six hours on 3G. Besides, the Idea Aurus has dual cameras – a 5 megapixel camera in the rear and a 0.3 megapixel unit in the front.
It comes with WiFi with hotspot capability, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth, a micro USB port and 3.5 mm jack etc.
Reliance Smart V6700
This Android smartphone was launched just last month. RCom is currently offering it for Rs 6,777 with benefits worth Rs 5,400 that include 5 GB per month free for six months (worth Rs 4,500), Rs 250 worth of global calls free on a recharge of Rs 100, Reliance Global Call (worth Rs 350), two months’ subscription to BigFlix (worth Rs 500), and a 4 GB micro SD card worth Rs 150 free. Reliance Smart V6700, which is made by ZTE, runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and has a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen with 320 x 480 pixel resolution.
