Opera has upgraded its mobile Browser which will support over 3,000 devices across seven mobile platforms such as Android, Symbian, iOS, Blackberry, Java, and Brew.
To begin with, the much appreciated internet boost technology has been optimised. The internet boost technology, also known as the Opera turbo, caches and compresses the content from internet websites like images and identifies and optimises it according to the type of connection being used.
With the new Opera mini, this technology comes embedded whereas Opera mobile running devices can choose to activate it in order to improve speed.
Other additions include visuals tabs and tab switching and the much awaited ‘pinch to zoom’ feature for touchscreen devices running Opera and having a capacitive touch screen.
Social networking has been built as an integral part of the new browsers and users now can share content on any social media network with just a single touch. Interested users can download it from the Opera website.
